- Utility grade high current quick connectors (Powerlock)
- IP66 rated quick connectors for safe and efficient connection of high amperage cable sizes in seconds for hard wired and distribution sections. Up to 800AMP options
- Rental specification busbar connection points - allowance for RGen Hire or customer supplied cabling systems for connection
- Multiple power outlet points for auxiliary power applications - 50AMP, 32AMP, 15AMP outlets
- Heavy duty skids with pull bars and forklift pockets - allowance for full tilt tray skid pick up/delivery + option fork lift manoeuvrability
- Balanced transport and lifting arrangements - all generators are supplied with top of canopy lifting points, all generators are engineered and designed to ensure safe and balanced lifting/craneage
- 12 hour and 24 hour internal fuel tank options.
- Lockable internal and external fuel fill points - allowance for extra security + ability to fill generator sets while unit fully operational.
- Bund leakage protection/spill mitigation - All of RGen Hire's generators are fitted with a 110% Bund retainment as well as “leakage alarm systems" to ensure environmentally safe operation.
- 3-way fuel valves (a double-body 3-way valve that allows the engine to be supplied with fuel, either from an external tank or from the generators own internal tank)
- Synchronisation capabilities. All of RGen Hire's skid units above 80 kVA have full synchronisation capabilities. (synchronisation matches various parameters of one generator to another generator or mains. The process of synchronisation is also called as paralleling of sources or generators. All of RGen Hire's generators above and including 80 kVA can be synchronised to create a "mass power station" option (up to 32 generators in one group. RGen Hire is fully technically equipped to design and implement any application required.) Many options are available inclusive of full redundancy packages for failsafe critical site operation, hours sharing, load sharing and load dependant operation (fuel efficiency modes, load operation modes)
- COMAP and DeepSea electronics generator controllers. All RGen Hire's generators are controlled by the highest standard and specified generator controllers. These controllers are fully configurable to any application required for temporary, prime and standby applications ensuring reliable monitoring and control of each generator set.
- Motorised circuit protection - all of RGen Hire's generators above 60 kVA are fitted with 4 pole motorised circuit breakers with electronic trip units. This allows for very high level of electrical safety for all downstream electrical componentry. Immediately upon shutdown the generators circuit breaker will open. Upon start the circuit breaker will close automatically.
- Adjustable earth leakage relays (earth leakage protection is designed to detect minimal earth leakage currents and further disconnect the supply from the downstream circuit. All of RGen Hire’s generators are fitted with minimum mine grade adjustable earth leakage protection.
- AREP/PMG optimised alternators - the AREP excitation system improves the voltage response of the alternator during transient load applications, such as motor starting. The AREP excitation system does this by allowing the alternator a high short circuit capability: 300% -10 s. Also assisting greatly with non linear load applications such as Variable Speed Drives (VSD's)
- Internal battery charger and slar panel trickle charge options - all RGen Hire's units have internal charging system for offline/standby arrangements to ensure start batteries are fully charged and ready for operation.
- ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) integration capability - all of RGen Hire's generators have the ability to easily be integrated to existing ATS units.
- Queensland and NSW mine spec capabilities
- Queensland construction standard approved.
- Low noise ratings (dB Ratings) - All of RGen Hire's generators are fitted with residential grade mufflers and can option for super silent models.
- Anti-tamper enclosure door switches for extra security - safety limit switches detect the opening of guards or doors for prevention of access to the generators and safely stop the set when triggered.
